The beavertail grip safety with memory bump and left-side thumb safety support consistent, controlled handling.
Sight alignment is fast and clear with the Novak-marked low-mount rear sight (two white dots) paired to a dovetailed front sight (single white dot) for a fixed 3-dot setup. The 5-inch bushing barrel, full-length guide rod with central screw, and single-action operation work together for reliable cycling and predictable trigger control via the skeletonized, 3-hole long trigger.
Markings are correct and crisp: the slide is marked "MODEL 1911-A1 CAL .45" with TRP and Springfield Armory identifiers, and the barrel hood is marked "S.A. .45 AUTO." An "SS" stamp appears forward of the trigger guard. The pistol retains a non-railed dust cover and checkered wood grips, and it is made in the USA.
Capacity is 8+1, and this pistol includes three single-stack magazines: one 8-round magazine with an extended polymer base pad and two 7-round flush-fit magazines. This setup offers immediate range readiness and flexibility in carry or training configurations.
