Caesar Guerini Summit Black Ascent Sporting 12 Gauge O/U, 32 Inch Barrels, Raised 10 mm Mid Rib, Adjustable Monte Carlo, MAXIS Extended Chokes
This Caesar Guerini Summit Black Ascent Sporting is a right-hand 12-gauge over/under built in Italy and proofed in 2024 (IT24). It pairs 32-inch tri-alloy steel MaxisBore barrels with DueCon long forcing cones, a raised mid-height tapered rib designed for a 50/50 point of impact, and a factory DTS adjustable Monte Carlo stock. The black receiver wears factory scroll engraving with gold 'CAESAR GUERINI' and 'SUMMIT' inlays protected by Invisalloy.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Not applicable — smoothbore barrels; no rifling present.
Specific Condition Notes: There are a few light scuffs on the stock and one on the top lever. Barrel fit is good. The top lever position indicates ample life in the locking mechanism. The automatic ejectors are slightly mis-timed. The firing pins appear clean and properly formed.

The Black Ascent Sporting configuration features a blued/black receiver finished in Invisalloy with factory scrollwork and gold model marquees. The 32-inch tri-alloy steel barrels use Caesar Guerini’s MaxisBore profile with DueCon long forcing cones and an extended choke system for competition flexibility. A mid-height tapered sporting rib, approximately 10–8 mm and specified here as a 10 mm raised mid rib, is intended for a 50/50 POI. Ventilated side ribs aid balance and heat dissipation, and the gun employs automatic ejectors with a Deeley-style forend latch.
The right-hand stock is walnut with an oil finish and Caesar Guerini’s DTS adjustable Monte Carlo comb, allowing on-gun fit tuning. Ergonomics include a right-hand palm swell, cast-off, and toe-out, plus a recoil pad. Length of pull is 15.0 inches.
Controls and fire controls are competition-oriented: a tang safety with barrel selector and a single selective, inertia-operated trigger. The action is an over/under break-action with a two-round capacity and 2 3/4-inch chambers.
