What's Included
- Winchester Model 90 Third Model .22 LR pump-action rifle
Built on a Model 90 Third Model receiver and configured as a takedown, this Third Model retains the receiver-mounted takedown screw/knob for quick separation of the barrel and magazine assembly from the action. The later Winchester barrel, marked "MODEL 90 – .22 LONG RIFLE," reflects a factory pattern used after 1919 and provides .22 LR chambering on this earlier receiver.
The rifle uses a 24 in octagon barrel paired with open sights: a dovetailed front blade and a rear notch with an elevator. The top-eject receiver and external hammer maintain the Model 90’s traditional layout and operation.
Feeding is via an under-barrel tubular magazine loaded from the front with a spring plug, with a stated capacity of 12+1. The action is pump-operated, with a grooved wooden fore-end to provide solid purchase during cycling.
The walnut stock has a straight grip and a crescent steel buttplate, complemented by the grooved wooden pump fore-end. The tang is marked "WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK." Length of pull measures 12.5 inches.
