What’s Included
- Colt Single Action Army Third Generation revolver (.44-40 Win., 4.75 inch barrel)
Built in 1979, this Third Generation SAA carries the SA-prefix that aligns with late-1970s production. It is chambered in .44-40 Winchester and configured with the traditional 4.75 inch barrel and a fluted six-shot cylinder.
The revolver wears a high-polish blued finish, with carbon steel barrel, frame, and cylinder. The smooth ivory-colored two-piece grips (non-medallion) provide a clean, period-appropriate look.
Factory sights are fixed, with a blade front and a top-strap groove rear. It retains the right-side ejector housing fitted with the round bullseye/button head, and a checkered hammer spur for positive control.
Markings include the Hartford top-barrel address and the frame’s 1871/72/75 patent legend with the Rampant Colt logo. A small stamped "K" appears on the front of the trigger guard. The overall presentation is consistent with careful handling and minimal use.
