The Athena v2 uses a 2011-pattern double-stack frame with single-action-only operation, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a grip safety. The flat-faced trigger features a blue anodized shoe, and a large, flared magazine well supports fast reloads. Listed capacity is 20+1.
The 4.6-inch bull barrel is paired with a tri-top slide featuring lightening windows. The barrel hood is marked "PERFECT ZERO," and the top plate is marked "RMR / SRO M4 x 0.7" and "OPS RMRMR–R1."
Optics mounting is streamlined via the factory-installed Atlas Gunworks v2 plate for the Trijicon RMR/SRO and Holosun 507 footprint. A fiber-optic front sight is installed; the rear sight is not present while the optics plate is installed. An Atlas adjustable rear sight plate is included.
The steel frame carries a full-length dust cover with an accessory rail featuring four cross-slots. The grip module is the Cheely E2 aluminum grip with aggressive texture. Manufacturer roll-mark reads "ATLAS GUNWORKS INC., USA, SHELBURNE, VT."
