This FN America SCAR 17S is the RCH version with a reciprocating, reversible charging handle, chambered in 7.62x51 NATO. It features a 16.25-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel, a Flat Dark Earth monolithic aluminum upper with a continuous, numbered MIL-STD-1913 top rail, and a side-folding, 6-position telescoping stock with an adjustable cheek rest. It comes with two 20-round steel magazines and the original factory box.

Built on a monolithic aluminum upper receiver, this SCAR 17S provides a continuous, numbered MIL-STD-1913 top rail with additional accessory rails at 3 and 6 o'clock. Flip-up iron sights are installed, with the front sight at the gas block and a matching flip-up rear sight.
The short-stroke gas piston system includes an adjustable gas regulator at the front sight base. The reciprocating, reversible charging handle identifies this as the RCH version, consistent with the model's rotating-bolt, semi-automatic action.
The 16.25-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel carries a 1:12-inch right-hand twist. Barrel rollmark reads "MP [FN oval] 7.62 x 51MM 1/12." The rifle is marked on the receiver "FN COLUMBIA, SC USA SCAR 17S cal. 7.62x51," and it uses proprietary SCAR-H pattern magazines. Capacity is 20+1.
The stock is side-folding and 6-position telescoping, with an adjustable cheek riser and a rubberized buttpad. Overall length is approximately 38.5 inches extended and 28.5 inches folded.
