This Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW is a micro-size AR-15 pistol chambered in .300 AAC Blackout with a 7 in cold hammer-forged S2W barrel and a pistol-length gas system. It includes a Maxim Defense PDW brace, a free-float MFR XL 6.0 M-LOK handguard with an integral handstop, and a non-factory three-port brake/compensator on 5/8x24 threads. The package comes with three dedicated .300 BLK 30-round magazines, a molded hard case, the factory owner’s manual, and caliber ID magazine bands.

The 7 in barrel is chrome-moly vanadium steel, cold hammer-forged in the S2W profile with a 1:7 twist to stabilize common .300 BLK bullet weights. It is threaded 5/8x24 TPI and fitted with a non-factory three-port brake/compensator, providing a tuned muzzle interface while maintaining standard thread compatibility.
The free-float Daniel Defense MFR XL 6.0 M-LOK handguard is aluminum and features an integral forward handstop for consistent indexing. A continuous T-marked top Picatinny rail runs the length of the receiver and handguard for mounting sights or accessories as needed.
The PDW configuration uses a Maxim Defense collapsible brace with a QD sling socket and hook-and-loop cuff, keeping the overall length compact. Approximate OAL is 20.75 in collapsed and 24.75 in extended, with an unloaded weight around 5.7 lb for easy handling.
