This Remington 870 Express Youth is a compact 20-gauge field configuration with a 12 inch length of pull, a 21 inch vent-rib barrel, and Rem Choke threading with a flush tube installed. It is chambered for 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells, finished in matte blued steel, and fitted with walnut-stained hardwood furniture. The milled steel receiver uses twin action bars and carries the classic Remington 870 rollmark.

The Youth configuration sets this 870 apart with a 12.0 inch length of pull, making it easier to shoulder while maintaining the familiar 870 handling. The walnut-stained hardwood stock features pressed checkering, a straight comb, a Remington rubber buttpad, and a grip cap with an inset R logo. The beavertail forend provides a solid grasp on the pump stroke.
The 21 inch vent-rib barrel is threaded for Rem Choke tubes and comes with a flush tube installed. It uses a single bead front sight for a clean sight picture. The barrel is factory stamped 20GA. 2 3/4" OR 3", confirming its ability to handle both shell lengths.
Construction is centered on a milled steel receiver with a matte blued finish and twin action bars. A polymer trigger-plate housing is used, and the right side of the receiver includes a QR-style code near the serial location. The receiver is rollmarked Remington 870 for easy identification.
Capacity is 4+1 in 20 gauge. The matte blued metalwork and walnut-stained hardwood give it a practical field finish, while the Rem Choke system adds flexibility for different shooting needs.
