Browning BAR Mark II Safari .30-06 with BOSS, 22 inch Barrel, Engraved Receiver, High-Gloss Walnut
This 1990s Browning BAR Mark II Safari in .30-06 pairs proven semi-automatic performance with factory engraving and premium wood. It features the BOSS ported muzzle brake on a 22 inch barrel, a two-tone receiver with engraved side panels carrying 'SAFARI' banners, and a high-gloss hand-checkered walnut stock. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a Leupold one-piece scope base is installed. The bore is excellent, and the rifle presents in very good overall condition. Made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal, with the Type 107 code denoting the Safari grade.

The BAR Mark II Safari is a gas-operated semi-automatic with a rotating locking bolt and a 4+1 capacity in .30-06. It uses a 22 inch barrel and a cross-bolt safety, with a 13.5 inch length of pull for a comfortable fit.
At the muzzle is the factory BOSS system with a ported brake, part of this model’s standard Safari configuration. The barrel and receiver display a two-tone blued/silver finish that complements the engraving package.
The receiver features factory scroll engraving on silver-finished side panels with 'SAFARI' banners and a blued top. Stock furniture is high-gloss walnut with a pistol-grip profile, cut checkering, and a matching walnut fore-end.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and this rifle comes with a Leupold one-piece scope base installed, plus scope rings to facilitate mounting. There are no fixed sights on this configuration.
Manufacture and marking details include a proof-stamp cluster at the barrel shank and a barrel address reading: Browning Arms Company Morgan Utah & Montreal P.Q. — Made in Belgium; Assembled in Portugal. The Type 107 serial code denotes the BAR Mark II Safari grade.
