The MSR-15 Recon is built on a direct-impingement AR-15 platform with a flat-top receiver carrying a continuous Picatinny rail. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard incorporates an integral, full-length Picatinny top rail, making it ready for optics and accessories.
The 16 in barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-style birdcage flash hider. The rifle features a curved trigger and an ambidextrous safety selector for familiar, efficient controls.
Ergonomics are enhanced with a Magpul collapsible carbine stock and Magpul pistol grip. The stock offers adjustable length of pull with observed positions around 10.5 in and 13.5 in. A QD sling socket is installed in the M-LOK handguard for ready sling attachment.
