The 3.8" barrel is hammer-forged, match-grade, and Melonite-finished, with the hood marked "MATCH" and a 1:16 twist. This setup is designed for consistent lockup and durability in a compact .45 ACP format.
The forged steel slide wears a Black Melonite finish and features the OSP optics-ready cut with the cover plate installed; no optic is mounted. Sighting is fast and clear via a red fiber-optic front and Tactical Rack U-Dot rear.
The striker-fired, recoil-operated action uses Springfield's flat-faced META (Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly) for a clean, predictable break. A captive dual-spring recoil assembly helps manage the .45 ACP impulse in a compact slide length.
The black polymer frame provides textured grip panels and a three-slot accessory rail on the dustcover. Ambidextrous slide stop levers and an ambidextrous magazine release support left- or right-hand operation.
