It features a blued finish with blued small parts, sharp bore and rifling, and correct wartime markings, including e/63 acceptance and firing proofs. What’s Included

    • Leather P.08 Luger flap holster
    • One 8-round Luger magazine marked "122" over eagle/37 with steel body and aluminum base numbered on bottom

Chambered for 9mm Luger, this P.08 was built by Mauser in 1939 and carries the period-correct "42" code on the forward toggle link with the chamber top dated 1939. Army acceptance eagles/63 are on the right side of the receiver, along with the military firing proof (eagle over swastika) and a right-side barrel firing proof. The barrel underside shows the 8,82 gauge mark, and the safety well is marked "GESICHERT."

This example has all matching numbers across its components, with the last two digits repeated on numerous small parts. Small parts are blued rather than strawed, aligning with Mauser’s finish practice by this period. A stock lug is present at the rear of the grip frame.

It retains a classic P.08 configuration: short-recoil, toggle-locked, single-action operation; manual thumb safety; fixed blade front sight on an integral base; and a fixed rear notch integral to the rear toggle. The pistol is full-size with a carbon steel frame and receiver, blued finish, and checkered wooden grip panels.

The 4 inch barrel and excellent bore with sharp, mirror-bright rifling support the pistol’s clean mechanical presentation. It includes one original, period "122" Haenel-coded magazine with aluminum base (numbered with suffix and plus mark) and a leather P.08 flap holster. Capacity is 8+1.
