The AL391 Urika employs Beretta's self-compensating gas system, designed to regulate pressure across a range of loads. It cycles via a tubular magazine with a stated 4+1 capacity and ejects to the right. Controls include a cross-bolt safety, a cylindrical bolt handle, and a round bolt-release button.
The 28-inch barrel is vent-ribbed and threaded for Beretta’s removable choke system, with an extended ported choke tube installed. It is chambered for both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells and uses a simple front bead for a clean sight picture.
The receiver is finished in matte black and marked "AL391 Urika – 12 GA." The barrel is marked "P. BERETTA – MADE IN ITALY" and carries Italian proof/inspection marks along with a Beretta USA Accokeek, MD barrel marking. Country of origin is Italy.
