Built on a micro-sized aluminum alloy frame with a 3-inch barrel, the RAMI BD offers compact dimensions for carry while retaining double-stack capacity. Overall length is approximately 6.5 inches, width about 1.25 inches, height about 4.7 inches, and weight about 26 oz. The steel slide wears CZ's black Polycoat finish and rides inside the frame rails for a low-bore, smooth-running profile, complemented by an external extractor.
The BD variant uses a frame-mounted decocking lever paired with a traditional DA/SA trigger system. A ringed (rowel) spur hammer provides positive control. Operation is short-recoil, semi-automatic, and chambered in 9mm Luger.
Factory Meprolight Tru-Dot tritium 3-dot night sights are dovetailed front and rear, with the rear marked "TRU DOT." This setup provides a durable, low-profile sighting system tailored to the RAMI platform.
Manufactured in the Czech Republic, this example bears CIP "N" proofs with a two-digit "16" proof date and CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import markings. The barrel hood, slide, and frame carry matching serial numbers. The RAMI name derives from the designers' given names, and the line was discontinued around 2020.
