This Kimber Aegis Elite Ultra stands out as a compact 9mm 1911 with a 3.0 in stainless steel ramped, bushingless bull barrel and a two-tone finish. It features fiber-optic iron sights, aggressive AEX diamond-pattern slide serrations, and 24 LPI front-strap checkering for confident handling. It comes with three 7-round magazines, the factory case, and the original manual, and is in excellent overall condition.
The slide wears a KimPro II black finish over a Satin Silver aluminum frame for a clean two-tone look. AEX-style diamond serrations at the rear aid slide manipulation, with the forward portion of the slide remaining smooth. The frame includes 24 LPI front-strap checkering and a vertically grooved mainspring housing. G-10 grip panels with a grey/black scales texture provide a secure hold, and the slide carries the AEGIS ELITE ULTRA rollmark with the frame rollmarked YONKERS NY USA.
Its 3.0 in stainless steel barrel is ramped, bushingless, and bull-profiled, paired with a 1:16 LH twist and a full-length guide rod. The micro 1911 platform keeps overall length to 6.8 in and height to 4.75 in, with an approximate weight of 25 oz.
The single-action 1911 fire control system includes a skeletonized, three-hole aluminum trigger and a Commander-style skeletonized hammer. Safety features include a beavertail grip safety and a left-side thumb safety.
Sight alignment is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic front and a green two-dot rear. Capacity is 7+1 with single-stack 9mm magazines. This example is made in the USA and includes three steel magazines stamped 9MM.
