The High Power features a robust steel frame with a stainless-finish slide and frame, paired to a 4.7 in ramped barrel. It uses a single-action-only trigger system with a ring-style hammer and an ambidextrous thumb safety. An extended beavertail, integral frontstrap and backstrap texturing, and a slightly beveled magazine well support secure handling.
FN equips this model with drift-adjustable steel sights: a white dot front blade and a plain black rear notch. The slide uses FN 509-pattern sight dovetails, rear-only serrations, and an enlarged ejection port.
Controls include a right-side rotating takedown lever. The pistol is engineered for a 17+1 capacity in 9mm Luger, and this example includes two 17-round steel magazines. The magazine disconnect has been deleted on this model.
Manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, it bears factory markings: HIGH POWER / FN COLUMBIA, SC USA on the slide and CAL. 9MM P on the barrel hood. Overall length is approximately 8 in, and the unloaded weight is about 40 oz.
