This pistol follows the Government-length 5 inch configuration in .45 ACP, built on a steel frame and slide finished in matte gray. It uses fixed 3-dot sights (front post with a white dot and rear notch with two white dots), rear-only slide serrations, and a lowered ejection port for consistent ejection clearance. Checkered wood grip panels, a spur hammer, and an arched, vertically serrated mainspring housing provide a traditional 1911 feel with a smooth frontstrap.
Custom components include a 3-port bushing-style compensator installed at the muzzle and a long skeletonized 3-hole trigger with an overtravel screw. These additions are fitted to the Mil-Spec foundation while maintaining the pistol’s clean profile.
Controls are GI-pattern with a single-side thumb safety and a GI/A1-style grip safety. Capacity is 7+1, and one 7-round magazine is included. The magazine body is stamped "45 ACP."
Markings are consistent with Springfield Armory Mil-Spec production: MIL-SPEC slide marking, Springfield Armory rollmark with crossed-cannons crest, right frame marked "SI GENESEO IL USA," and the barrel hood marked "S.A. .45 AUTO." The pistol is made in the USA.
