Built on the 1911 platform and manufactured in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, this Nero Commander is chambered in 9mm Luger and uses a traditional barrel bushing with a Commander-length 4.25 inch barrel. The barrel hood is marked "9mm NM." The matte black finish on both slide and frame presents a clean, uniform appearance.
The flat-topped slide uses anti-glare top serrations and front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Sights are dovetailed: a red fiber-optic front paired with a black ledge, square-notch rear for a clear, fast sight picture.
Ergonomics are enhanced by front strap and mainspring housing checkering, a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory pad, and a flared magwell integrated with the mainspring housing for smooth reloads. The solid, vertically serrated medium-length trigger and a skeletonized ring hammer round out the fire-control details.
The frame incorporates an integral accessory rail with multiple cross-slots. Controls include a thumb safety, with standard 1911 grip safety redundancy. Textured black G10 grip panels with integral, raised Cabot crest logos provide secure purchase and a distinctive look.
This pistol comes with two 9-round magazines and original factory packaging, plus a Cabot certificate that documents the model, caliber, and August 2020 date.
