The 28-inch plain barrel is configured with a fixed Full choke and a single front bead, with no mid-bead and no ventilated rib. The barrel is roll-marked "16 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS," aligning with the 2 3/4" chamber specification for this gun.
The steel receiver wears a polished blue finish with factory scroll engraving on both sides, complemented by a bright/satin-finished bolt that carries light decorative scroll. The receiver is roll-marked "Remington Model-1100," and the barrel bears the "REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A." address, along with the oval REP proof.
The 16-gauge configuration is identified by the receiver serial suffix "W." Feeding is via a tubular magazine with a 2+1 capacity, and the action is the proven gas-operated semi-automatic system that defines the Model 1100 line.
The walnut stock and forend show impressed fleur-de-lis checkering, with fleur-de-lis accents on the forend. The stock features a pistol-grip profile, a white-line spacer, a Remington hard buttplate, and a 14.0-inch length of pull. Sling swivel studs are installed at the buttstock toe and on the magazine cap, ready for a sling if desired.
Finished in polished blue with a clean, bright bore, this Field Grade 1100 presents as a well-kept example with classic lines and useful field features in a desirable 16-gauge setup.
