The TX22 uses a single-action, striker-fired system with simple blowback operation, paired with the Taurus Performance Trigger System. This setup delivers a consistent, clean trigger press in a full-size .22 LR format with a 16+1 capacity.
The 4.1" alloy steel barrel is factory-threaded and includes a hex-profile thread protector. Its 7075 aluminum slide wears a hard-coat black anodized finish and features front and rear serrations plus a top lightening window.
Sights are straightforward and adaptable: a white-dot post front and an adjustable square-notch rear. Controls include a left-side slide stop/release lever for familiar handling.
The black polymer frame keeps weight down and grip secure with molded texturing and the Taurus bull logo. An integral Picatinny accessory rail supports common light or laser attachments.
