The 5.25 inch cold-hammer-forged barrel features polygonal rifling and an O-ring for consistent lockup. It is factory threaded with an M16x1 LH pattern, and the tall, suppressor-height sight set includes a single-dot front and TRU DOT rear. The sight radius is 6.65 inches.
This HK45 Tactical uses a short-recoil, modified Browning-type, linkless operating system. It is a DA/SA, hammer-fired configuration with a manual safety/decocker and the HK paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release for positive control.
The slide wears HK's black hostile environment finish with front and rear serrations. The full-size black polymer frame integrates a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with four slots and interchangeable backstraps for grip fit; a spare backstrap is included.
Capacity is 10+1 with the included HK45 steel magazines. The frame is marked "Heckler & Koch Inc., Columbus GA • Made in USA," and the slide shows the BD two-letter code and a triangular proof symbol. The factory case label corresponds to the pistol and lists the HK part number 234873NH.
