This Browning 1911-22 Full Size is an 85%-scale rimfire take on the classic 1911, chambered in .22 LR with a 4.25-inch steel barrel. It features a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame and slide, matte black finish, and checkered wood double-diamond grip panels. It comes in excellent condition with two 10-round single-stack magazines.
Built on a straight-blowback, single-action-only mechanism, this pistol retains traditional 1911 controls, including a left-side thumb safety and grip safety. The frame is non-railed, and the slide carries rear cocking serrations only, preserving a clean, GI-style profile.
The 1911-style barrel bushing and recoil spring plug contribute to the familiar 1911 handling. Sights are fixed iron with a blade front and notch rear, providing a straightforward, durable setup well-suited to a rimfire trainer or plinker.
Markings include "1911-22" with the Browning Buckmark on the slide and ".22 L.R." on the barrel hood. The rowel (Commander-style) hammer, matte black finish, and scaled dimensions deliver classic 1911 ergonomics in a lighter, easy-shooting package.
