This full-size 1911 uses a 5-inch barrel with a standard barrel bushing and a full-length guide rod. It is single-action and hammer-fired, with a thumb safety and a grip safety. The skeletonized, three-hole trigger and Commander-style skeletonized hammer complete the classic performance-oriented control set.
The sight system is optimized for visibility with a red fiber-optic front blade and a fixed two-dot yellow/green fiber-optic rear, both dovetailed into the slide with a serrated rear face. The slide also includes front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable operation.
Custom upgrades include a uniform matte grey refinish on the slide and frame and Archangel one-piece textured polymer grips with an integrated magwell funnel. The grip unit provides a beveled, funneled magazine well to speed reloads while keeping the Government-size frame non-railed; the wraparound grip covers the front strap and provides molded texture.
