What’s Included
- Ceskoslcvenska Zbrojovka Brno Vz. 24 stripped action/receiver
This is a Vz. 24 receiver/action only, not a complete rifle. It is built on the Mauser 98 standard-length, large-ring pattern with an integral front recoil lug and rear tang. The M98 ejector/bolt-stop cut is present, and the magazine well and guard-screw bosses are visible.
The receiver shows a matte gray surface finish over its forged and machined steel construction. The serial number location is on the left front receiver ring. Factory rollmark on the left receiver wall reads 'ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ ZBROJOVKA, A.S., BRNO.'
Chambering specification is 8mm Mauser as per the Vz. 24 pattern. This interwar Brno-made action type was widely exported and was also designated Gewehr 24(t) during German service, offering recognized Mauser 98 compatibility for Vz. 24 pattern components.
