It reflects Miroku heritage from the era that preceded the later Browning Citori production.

The trigger guard bow bears a gold-inlaid "DAVE WILSON" name that appears to be a non-factory personalization.

Made in Japan by Miroku Firearms Mfg. Co. in Kochi, this Charles Daly Superior Grade dates to approximately 1965–1967. It carries correct period markings, including the B.C. MIROKU cartouche on the receiver bottom and the MIROKU FIREARMS MFG.
CO. KOCHI JAPAN barrel address, along with CHARLES DALY and proof marks noted as SP, NP, 20, and 75mm.
The 20 gauge over/under configuration uses 28-inch barrels with a ventilated, matted rib and bead sights. It has 3-inch (75mm) chambers and a two-round capacity. The action is a break-action boxlock with a tang safety, a single gold-colored trigger, and split, timed ejectors. A lever-style forend latch secures the beavertail forend.
Stocked in high-gloss walnut, the gun features a pistol grip, hand-cut checkering, and a ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer. Metalwork is finished in blued/black. The receiver shows factory scroll engraving complemented by gold-inlaid game birds on both side panels. The trigger guard bow features a gold-inlaid "DAVE WILSON" name, which appears to be a later, non-factory personalization.
