The Honey Badger SBR uses a direct-impingement, pistol-length gas system with a factory adjustable gas block that can be accessed through the handguard. The 7-inch barrel features 5/8x24 threads and a fast 1:5 twist tailored to .300 BLK loads. With the included detachable Q Honey Badger 7.62 mm suppressor installed, barrel length measures 15 inches.
Controls are modern and ergonomic, including an ambidextrous safety selector with pictograms, a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle, and a right-side bolt release lever. Q’s two-rod collapsible PDW stock provides a compact footprint while maintaining a solid shoulder position. Unsuppressed, the rifle’s overall length is approximately 20.0–24.75 inches, with a weight around 4.8 pounds and a 30+1 STANAG magazine capacity.
The upper and handguard provide a full-length 12 o’clock Picatinny rail, with M-LOK slots for accessories. A flip-up front sight is installed, and a fabric heat wrap is fitted over the suppressor/handguard area to aid handling during extended strings of fire.
