This Browning Citori Grade VI Field is a 12-gauge over/under from the 1980s with factory full-coverage scroll engraving and gold inlays, manufactured by Miroku in Japan. It pairs 28-inch Special Steel barrels and the Browning Standard Invector flush choke system with high-figure walnut furniture and a beavertail forend. It is a field-configuration gun with a single gold-tone trigger, tang safety, and a ventilated rib with a single front bead.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: There are many scratches and blemishes on the stock and forend. The barrel finish shows minor blemishing. Ejectors are properly timed. Barrel fit is solid, and the action drops with resistance. The firing pins are in good shape.
There is a very slight right-hand cast off.

The Grade VI Field trim is distinguished by factory engraving and gold inlays. This example features full-coverage scrollwork, gold game-bird inlays on both sides of the receiver, a gold dog motif on the underside, and a gold bird on the trigger guard. The single trigger is gold-tone, and the wood shows high figure appropriate to the Grade VI designation.
The 28-inch Special Steel barrels use the Browning Standard Invector choke system with flush-fit tubes and carry the "INVECTOR" marking on the monobloc. It has a ventilated rib with a single front bead and chambers for both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch 12-gauge shells. It is currently set up with Skeet/Skeet chokes installed.
Field features include a tang safety, a single selective-style operation via a single trigger, and 2-round capacity. The walnut stock has a pistol-grip and checkering, paired with a ventilated recoil pad, and a matching beavertail forend for a fuller handhold. Length of pull is 14.25 inches, and there is a very slight right-hand cast off.
Proofed as "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN JAPAN," this Citori was built by Miroku and represents 1980s Japanese production. It is a factory-engraved, hunting/field-configuration over/under with properly timed ejectors and a well-fitted action that drops with resistance.
