The ST-15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system on the AR-15 platform and is chambered for 5.56 NATO. Both upper and lower receivers are forged aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish. The selector has pictogram markings, and the trigger is a traditional curved design.
The A3 flat-top upper carries a T-marked rail (T2–T12), and the free-float quad-rail handguard provides a continuous top Picatinny rail with additional rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. No iron sights or optics are included.
A stainless-tone, multi-ported muzzle brake/comp is permanently pinned and welded to the 16.5 in barrel. The bright-finish bolt carrier and a charging handle with the Spikes spider logo round out the upper assembly details.
Magpul furniture includes a polymer CTR carbine stock and MOE-style pistol grip. The 6-position stock provides an approximate length of pull from 11–14 in. Capacity is listed as 30+1. This rifle is made in the USA.
