This Snake Slayer uses a single-action, break-open derringer design with a two-round capacity. The 3.5 inch rifled barrel is rated for 3 inch .410 shotshells and is also compatible with 2.5 inch shells, while remaining .45 Colt capable. An automatic spent-casing extractor speeds reloads, and a left-side cammed locking lever secures the action.
Construction is all stainless steel with a satin/brushed finish on the frame and receiver. The pistol includes an installed trigger guard, fixed sights with an integral front blade and a fixed rear notch, and an exposed hammer with a serrated spur for positive control.
Safety features include a cross-bolt safety, a rebounding hammer, and retracting firing pins. The extended, checkered rosewood grips provide a secure hold and are relief-marked with Snake Slayer/Bond Arms. Overall length is approximately 5.5 inches, with an approximate weight of 22 oz.
