What's Included
- Marlin Model 336CS .30-30 lever-action rifle (1999)
The 20-inch round steel barrel uses Marlin Micro-Groove rifling and pairs with a full-length tubular magazine for a stated 6+1 capacity. Two barrel bands secure the assembly and maintain the classic 336 profile.
The receiver is a solid-top, side-eject design and is drilled and tapped with plug screws installed. It is finished in a uniform blued color over steel and carries the North Haven, CT rollmark.
Sighting equipment includes a hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator, giving a precise, traditional sight picture.
The rifle wears a pistol-grip walnut stock and matching walnut forend, both factory checkered. It has sling-swivel studs and the factory hard plastic Marlin-logo buttplate with a black spacer present; the buttplate’s mounting screws are missing, so the buttplate/spacer is currently unsecured. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
Additional features include the lever-action mechanism and a cross-bolt safety. The rifle was manufactured in 1999 in the United States.
