This Thunder 45 Ultra Compact NKL pairs an alloy frame with a steel slide and a nickel finish for a durable, carry-size .45 ACP package. It uses a short-recoil, locked-breech, link-free locking system and operates in DA/SA with a smooth-faced trigger and an exposed, skeletonized ring hammer.
User-focused controls include an ambidextrous decocker/safety, an automatic firing-pin block, and an internal key-operated locking system. A top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator provides a quick visual reference. Rear slide serrations and an external extractor complete the slide features.
The pistol is set up with fixed 3-dot sights: a white-dot front blade and a square-notch, dovetailed rear. The dust cover features shallow longitudinal grooves for styling; there is no functional accessory rail for mounting rail-type lights or lasers.
