Manufactured by A. Uberti S.p.A. in Italy for Cimarron Firearms, this revolver is a faithful reproduction with period-correct details and modern fit and finish. The barrel is marked "CIMARRON F.A. CO., FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS / MANUFACTURED by A.
UBERTI, ITALY," and the left side of the frame carries a Colt-style three-line patent legend. Italian proof marks are present.
The steel frame is color case-hardened, while the barrel and fluted six-shot cylinder are blued for a classic two-tone look. Walnut birdshead grips with Cimarron medallions complete the compact profile. The revolver retains the traditional single-action mechanism.
Built around a 3.5-inch steel barrel, the Lightning is sized for easy carry while maintaining a full six-round capacity. It uses an SAA-pattern under-barrel ejector rod and housing with a checkered ejector button for positive case extraction.
Fixed sights consist of a rounded blade front and a topstrap groove rear. The barrel is rollmarked "CAL. .38 S&W SPEC." to denote its .38 Special chambering.
