The KHX Pro OR slide is factory-milled for optics and fitted with a four-screw cover plate that integrates the rear sight. Hex-pattern cocking serrations and a hex-pattern milled strip along the top of the slide provide confident manipulation and a focused sight picture. A lowered and relieved ejection port supports reliable extraction.
Its 4 inch match-grade stainless barrel uses a 1:16 left-hand twist for .45 ACP and runs on a single-action, recoil-operated 1911 system with a full-length guide rod. The capacity is 8+1, and this example includes a Kimber KimPro Tac-Mag steel magazine.
The steel frame and slide wear a uniform KimPro gray finish. The rounded-heel full-size frame has a stippled front strap and a textured metal mainspring housing with a matching KimPro gray finish for secure purchase. Gray/black G10 hex-pattern grip panels tie in with the slide’s styling while adding traction.
Controls include a manual thumb safety, grip safety, and a checkered magazine release. The fire-control setup features a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole aluminum trigger.
