The Px4 Storm’s rotating-barrel short-recoil system anchors this pistol’s design, paired with a traditional DA/SA trigger and an exposed, spurred hammer. This configuration offers a familiar manual of arms with a distinctive lockup unique to the series.
Construction highlights include a chrome-lined steel barrel and a Bruniton-finished slide over a fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer frame. The architecture is modular, with a removable hammer unit and compatibility with optional slim controls.
Controls and handling features include ambidextrous slide-mounted levers and front and rear slide serrations. An integral Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail is molded into the dust cover, and a lanyard loop is set at the heel of the grip. The factory polymer grips feature the Beretta medallion and molded "PX4 Storm" branding.
Sight picture comes from fixed 3-dot, dovetailed sights, with a drift-adjustable rear and a white-dot front. Markings include Italian PSF smokeless-powder proof and the Gardone Val Trompia proof-house crest, "GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY," and a BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK, MD import mark. Multiple matching serial placements are present on the barrel and frame.
