Made in Accokeek, Maryland, this 92FS represents the U.S.-produced variant of Beretta’s proven full-size service pistol. It uses a steel 4.9 inch barrel and an aluminum-alloy frame with a black anodized finish, paired with a matte black standard (non-Brigadier) open-top slide.
The FS-era slide retention upgrade is present, with the enlarged hammer pin and corresponding slide relief cut for added slide retention. The pistol also uses Beretta’s locking-block system and open-top slide design.
Controls are familiar and practical: a DA/SA action with an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, an automatic firing pin block, and an external spurred hammer. There is no magazine disconnect. Sights are fixed, with a white-dot front blade integral to the slide and a dovetailed rear square-notch.
Ergonomics are rounded out by black checkered polymer grips with Beretta medallions. The non-railed dust cover maintains the classic 92FS profile. Capacity is 15+1, and this example includes two 15-round metal magazines and the original factory hard case.
