This Defender Lightweight follows the 1911 platform in a micro form factor, combining a stainless slide with an aluminum-alloy frame to keep weight down while maintaining .45 ACP performance. The Officer's-length grip frame supports a 7+1 capacity using standard single-stack magazines.
The 3-inch barrel uses a bushingless, bull profile optimized for a compact slide and consistent lockup. Operation is single-action with the expected 1911 safety suite, including a thumb safety and grip safety.
Sight regulation is handled by Novak LoMount fixed 3-dot sights, with the rear sight NOVAK-marked. The slide features rear cocking serrations only and a flattened/recessed top around the rear sight to aid sight focus.
