Built for a compact footprint in .45 ACP, the PD-series design uses a 3.9 inch bushingless barrel and a short-recoil, locked-breech action. Capacity is 7+1 using a single-column magazine with two oval witness windows. The pistol is marked with Interarms Alexandria, Virginia import information and was made in Spain in 1979.
Controls are straightforward, with a left-side manual thumb safety that shows a red fire indicator. The pistol does not have a grip safety. A spur hammer completes the classic single-action setup.
Sight equipment consists of fixed iron sights: a front ramp and a rear notch. The slide has rear serrations for traction. External finishes include a blued/black slide and a black frame.
