The Rock 5.7 uses a striker-fired, delayed-blowback operating system with a fixed barrel to deliver soft recoil in the fast 5.7x28mm cartridge. Capacity is 23+1, and this example includes ten factory magazines for extended range time or duty rotation.
The 5.2 in barrel is fluted and threaded 1/2x28 TPI, ready for common 5.7 muzzle devices. A 1:9 RH twist supports the cartridge’s typical bullet weights, and the setup is optimized for reliable function in this platform.
The slide is machined from 416 stainless steel with a black finish, front and rear cocking serrations, and an optic cut. It is optics ready for the Shield RMS footprint, and this pistol arrives with an FXA12 PRO micro reflex sight already installed. Iron-sight configuration may vary with the installed optic; a raised white-dot front sight is present.
The black polymer frame features a textured grip and an integral three-slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or lasers. Controls include a flat/straight trigger shoe with a trigger safety. Factory markings include "5.7 ROCK" on the frame (left-side dustcover above the rail) and "Palmetto State Armory - West Columbia, SC" on the frame (right-side dustcover), and the pistol is made in the United States.
