This Tisas 1911 A1 Stakeout stands out as a dual-caliber, Series 70 Government model with an electroless-nickel finish over forged 4140 steel. It ships with both 9mm Luger and .38 Super barrels, includes eight 10-round magazines, and wears aftermarket textured red/black composite grip panels.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Other than minor finish loss on the inner grip, the exterior is exceptionally clean. There appears to be some pitting on the breech face. The currently installed barrel shows worn rifling. The spare 9mm barrel appears unused, while the .38 Super barrel shows slight wear.

The Stakeout is built on a forged 4140 steel frame and slide with an electroless-nickel finish and a Government-length 5 inch barrel and slide. This dual-caliber package includes barrels for both 9mm Luger and .38 Super, offering flexibility in use without altering the Series 70 architecture.
Controls and internals follow the Series 70 pattern (no firing-pin safety) with single-action, short-recoil operation. Notable features include a checkered magazine release, a solid, smooth-faced nickel-finished aluminum trigger, and a skeletonized rowel hammer.
The slide is configured with a lowered and flared ejection port and rear-only vertical cocking serrations. Sights are fixed: a front post paired with a fixed rear notch for a clean, traditional sight picture.
Eight 10-round single-stack magazines are included, supporting a 10+1 capacity. The magazines have numbered witness holes from 1 to 10, and several bodies are stamped '38S' for quick identification. Import and proof markings include "TISAS KNOXVILLE TN" and "ZIG M1 TURKIYE." The installed red/black textured composite grip panels provide enhanced purchase and are the sole noted customization.
