The stainless steel barrel is shrouded in aluminum and threaded 1/2x28 TPI, with the model optimized for suppressor use. The action is a semi-automatic blowback system.
Sighting is handled by iron sights with a green fiber-optic front and an adjustable rear. Controls include a manual safety and a push-button magazine release. The round bolt knob wears the VQ medallion.
The receiver is aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish, and the frame is polymer with black finger-groove textured panels. A scope mount is installed, and rail provisions are present. Capacity is 10+1 with Ruger Mark IV 22/45–pattern steel magazines.
