The Variant 1 control scheme places the safety/decocker on the left side, allowing both Condition-1 carry and safe decocking. The DA/SA trigger system gives the shooter traditional double-action first-shot capability with a crisp single-action follow-up.
The 4.46 inch barrel is extended and threaded, cold-hammer-forged, and fitted with an O-ring at the muzzle to promote consistent lockup. A factory knurled thread protector is installed. Raised 3-dot iron sights provide a clear sight picture with the tall single-dot front and two-dot rear.
The compact polymer frame retains the USP-pattern proprietary accessory rail and molded grip texturing for secure handling. Controls include the ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release and the manual safety/decocker, with a matte-finished slide complementing the overall build.
Proofed in Germany, this pistol bears the Ulm antler and eagle/N marks, with an AG date code indicating 2006 production. It was imported by Heckler & Koch Inc., Sterling, VA.
