The 16 inch barrel is marked 5.56 NATO 1/8 and uses a carbine-length gas system. It is threaded and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash hider. Up front, an A2 front sight base includes a bayonet lug and sling swivel, providing a proven fixed front sight reference.
The upper is a flat-top receiver with a Picatinny rail, forward assist, and dust cover. A detachable A2-style rear sight is included. The handguard is a carbine-length, two-piece aluminum alloy railed design with numbered slots and delta-ring retention, offering ample rail space along the foreend.
