Built on forged 7075-T6 receivers with a Type III hardcoat anodized base and a custom multi-tone camouflage refinish, it features a flat-top upper with T-marked rail, a three-prong flash hider, and a clean, mirror-finish bore. The Aero Precision X15 lower is marked "MODEL X15 / CAL MULTI" and "AERO PRECISION LLC / TACOMA, WA." The forged 7075-T6 receivers have a Type III hardcoat anodized base with a custom multi-tone camouflage refinish applied to both the receivers and the handguard. The upper is a flat-top with a T-marked Picatinny rail from T2 to T12, and it includes both a forward assist and an ejection-port cover. This pistol accepts STANAG-pattern magazines and comes with a 30-round polymer example.
The direct-impingement system pairs a 12.5-inch 5.56/.223 barrel with a low-profile, set-screw gas block for a streamlined profile under the handguard. The threaded muzzle is fitted with a three-prong flash hider. The bore presents an excellent, mirror finish with sharp rifling.
The Ripcord Industries LDR1 10.75-inch M-LOK free-float handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and provides multiple M-LOK slots for accessories. It features a limited 12-o'clock rail section at the front, while keeping the overall front end trim and lightweight. The handguard is engraved with the RIPCORD INDUSTRIES LDR1 10.75 designation.
Controls include an ambidextrous extended-latch charging handle with a tan/bronze finish and a safety selector. An OD-green textured polymer AR-15 grip with a beavertail provides a secure hold. Overall, the configuration focuses on practical enhancements and clean execution.
