This first-generation Springfield Armory XD-S 3.3 in .45 ACP stands out for its compact, micro-size profile and tri-serialized barrel, slide, and frame. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory, it features a Melonite-treated steel slide and barrel, fixed dovetailed sights with a red fiber-optic front, and an ambidextrous magazine release. It comes with two factory 5-round flush-base magazines and the original XD-S gear.

The XD-S 3.3 pairs a steel, Melonite-treated slide and barrel with a black polymer frame that features aggressive molded texturing for secure handling. The micro-size format and 3.3-inch barrel deliver a compact footprint while retaining the .45 ACP chambering and a 5+1 capacity using the included flush-base magazines.
Built on a striker-fired, locked-breech action, this model employs a dual captive recoil-spring assembly and 6-groove, right-hand rifling. The barrel and slide are serialized to the frame, and the pistol bears import markings reading "MADE IN CROATIA" and "SPRINGFIELD INC GENESEO IL."
Sight alignment is quick and clear with fixed, dovetailed sights: a red fiber-optic front and a low-profile, two-white-dot rear. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the dustcover carries a single-slot accessory rail for compatible add-ons.
Controls and safety features include an ambidextrous magazine release, a grip safety, a trigger safety blade, a striker block, and a loaded-chamber indicator. These elements work together to provide intuitive operation while maintaining Springfield Armory's XD-S safety suite.
