This P229 Legion R2 is a compact 9mm DA/SA pistol finished in Legion Gray PVD with SIG's Short Reset Trigger, X-RAY3 day/night sights, and the R2/PRO optic-cut slide. It comes well-appointed with five 15-round magazines, both the SIG Legion soft case and the factory hard case with matching label, a P229 challenge coin, and a spare set of G10 grips.

The Legion R2 configuration equips the P229 with a 3.9 in barrel, compact slide, and an aluminum-alloy frame finished in Legion Gray PVD. It retains the classic DA/SA operating system with a decocker and SIG's Short Reset Trigger for a shorter reset between shots. The pistol is fitted with black/gray checkered G10 grips bearing Legion medallions.
The R2/PRO-cut slide is optics-ready and includes a cover plate. It is compatible with the SIG ROMEO1PRO and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro; RMR-pattern optics use a different footprint and do not mount directly—an adapter plate is required.
Factory SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights are installed, with a green-ring tritium front and a square-notch tritium rear for clear sight acquisition in varied lighting. An exposed hammer, checkered frontstrap, and an under–trigger-guard relief cut support confident control.
An integral accessory rail on the dust cover accepts compatible weapon lights or accessories. The frame is marked SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA, and the model code E29R-9-LEGION-R2 matches the factory case label. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger.
