Ruger-era manufacture is evident throughout: this 1895 Trapper bears the RM-prefix serial range and a Mayodan, North Carolina barrel address, with a 2022 production date. The compact 16.1 in barrel and 5-round tubular magazine deliver the classic Trapper profile in .45-70 Govt.
The action and furniture are built for durability. A 416 stainless receiver and lever mate to a 410 stainless barrel, all finished in a bead-blasted/satin stainless. The bolt is spiral-fluted with a nickel finish, and the cross-bolt safety includes a red indicator.
The barrel is threaded 11/16x24, and the original rear barrel dovetail is neatly plugged. The receiver-mounted Skinner adjustable peep pairs with a fiber-optic front blade, and the Skinner base is engraved "Skinner TRAPPER" for easy identification.
The gray/black laminate pistol-grip stock features crisp checkering, a rubber recoil pad, sling swivel studs, an inletted grip medallion, and the classic Marlin bullseye in the buttstock. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, and a big-loop lever provides a distinctive Trapper handling feel.
