Built on the stainless K-Frame, this Model 648 no-dash retains the early configuration without an internal lock. The yoke cut is marked "MOD 648," and the revolver uses a six-shot fluted cylinder for the .22 WMR cartridge.
The 6-inch heavy-profile barrel includes a full-length underlug and serrated top rib for added steadiness and glare reduction. A pinned, plain-black ramp front sight pairs with an adjustable target-style rear sight. The design provides a long sight radius.
The DA/SA action uses a smooth-faced trigger and an exposed hammer with a wide, checkered spur. Stainless steel is used throughout the frame, cylinder, and receiver, all finished in stainless.
Ergonomics are enhanced by the installed Hogue rubber finger-groove Monogrip, offering a secure, hand-filling hold suited to steady rimfire shooting.
