The rifle retains the classic M14-pattern sighting system, combining a wing-protected front post with an adjustable rear aperture featuring windage and elevation drums. A factory forward Picatinny scout rail is positioned ahead of the receiver for mounting as needed.
The black synthetic stock is designed for durability and control, with molded texturing on the fore-end and pistol grip, a rubber buttpad, and sling swivels. The length of pull is 13.5 inches, offering a familiar fit for many shooters.
Built in the USA with a matte dark steel receiver, this M1A Scout Squad is chambered in .308 Win and has a 10+1 capacity using M14/M1A-pattern detachable box magazines. An internal Springfield Armory part marking is present on a component.
