The 20 in steel barrel is plain (non–vent-rib) with a fixed Cylinder Bore, optimized for wide-pattern performance. A brass bead front sight provides a simple, durable aiming reference. The 3 in chamber accepts both 2.75 in and 3 in 12-gauge shells.
The aluminum-alloy receiver features an anodized finish and is drilled and tapped for a rail/base, with three holes and filler screws in place. Twin action bars and dual extractors are standard to the 500A system, offering solid, consistent cycling.
A full-length magazine tube runs to the muzzle. Typical capacity is 7+1 with 2.75 in shells or 6+1 with 3 in shells. The ambidextrous top-tang safety is easy to index from either shoulder.
The black synthetic buttstock and ribbed synthetic fore-end are built for durability. The stock includes a recoil pad and a rear sling swivel stud, with a 14.5 in length of pull for a straightforward, stable mount.
