This Ruger AR-556 pairs a cold hammer-forged 16.10 in 4140 chrome-moly barrel with a flat-top upper and pinned A2 front sight base, delivering a proven AR-15 configuration made at Ruger’s Mayodan, NC facility. It features an aftermarket UTG PRO adjustable buttstock and comes with two 30-round Magpul PMAG polymer magazines. The rifle is in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore and sharp rifling.

The AR-556 uses a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish and a carbine-length gas system. The flat-top upper provides a Picatinny rail and includes a brass deflector, forward assist, and ejection port cover. The lower is marked "AR-556" with SAFE/FIRE selector markings and a selector safety.
Its 16.10 in barrel is cold hammer-forged from 4140 chrome-moly steel and features a 1:8 in right-hand twist to stabilize a broad range of 5.56/.223 bullet weights. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an A2 flash suppressor, and the front sight base is pinned for secure alignment.
Furniture includes an aftermarket UTG PRO adjustable buttstock installed on a six-position, carbine-length receiver extension, providing a listed 14.25 in length of pull. The rifle retains an A2-style polymer pistol grip and a two-piece, carbine-length polymer handguard with elongated slots.
Sight setup consists of a fixed A2-style front sight base paired with a polymer flip-up rear sight. Capacity is 30+1 with the included pair of 30-round Magpul PMAG polymer magazines.
Manufactured in 2016 at Ruger’s Mayodan, North Carolina facility, this rifle presents with the expected AR-556 markings and a clean, black finish that complements its straightforward, duty-style configuration.
